This is a spreadsheet I created with the results of one of our walk-on tryouts. I got player information, timed the athletes in the various drills, and created a spreadsheet to easily analyze the data.
I went back into our archives and created a table of the football signees from the past 6 years to determine in which geographic recruiting areas we had the most success so that we could focus our future recruiting efforts in those areas.
I researched all of the schools, both High School and Junior College, in the United States who had one or more athletes from their schools receive a College football scholarship within the past 6 years. I then reported my findings to our Director of Recruiting with a recommendation of certain schools and geographic areas where we would have the most success focusing our recruiting efforts.
I conducted a research experiment to see how accurate the player data and information was for the websites and companies we used in the recruiting department compared to the information we took ourselves when the players visited our facility. In doing so we were able to see if those websites and companies were worth using and if we could trust their data and player information.
